Why Choose Us

What Sets Our Atelier Apart

Under Magnification

We inspect every component under professional watchmaker's loupes — nothing is rushed, nothing overlooked.

Archival-Grade Materials

Lubricants and replacement parts are selected for longevity — the same caliber used in conservation workshops.

Written Condition Reports

Each service includes a documented assessment of the movement's condition before and after work — clear, plain language.

Owner Consultation

For antique and complex work, we discuss findings and options with you before proceeding — your watch, your decision.

Water-Resistance Checks

Gasket and seal integrity tested on every crystal replacement service — a step many workshops skip.

Photographic Records

Antique pieces are photographed at each stage — a record you keep alongside your timepiece.

Questions

What People Often Ask

How do I know if my watch needs a service?
The clearest signs are a loss of accuracy — running more than a minute or two fast or slow per day — or a watch that stops and starts irregularly. Older mechanical watches typically benefit from a full service every four to six years regardless, as lubricants dry out over time. If you're unsure, bring it in and we'll take a look without any obligation.
How long does a movement restoration take?
A typical mechanical movement restoration takes four to six weeks. Antique pocket watches with movement complexity or custom part fabrication may take longer — we'll give you an honest estimate after assessment. We don't rush work to meet an arbitrary deadline.
Do you service watches from all brands?
Our movement restoration service covers Swiss, German, and Japanese mechanical calibers across most brands. If you have a particularly rare or complex movement, contact us first and we can discuss what's involved before you bring it in.
What does the crystal replacement service include?
We replace the damaged crystal with one matched to the original specification where possible — sapphire, mineral, or acrylic depending on your watch. The service also includes a hand-polish of the case to address visible wear, gasket replacement, and a basic water-resistance check. The case treatment is tailored to preserve the original finish character, not simplify it.
How should I bring in my watch for assessment?
You're welcome to visit the workshop in person at 142/15 Sukhumvit Road, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110. We're open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00–18:00. You can also call ahead or send us a message through the contact form to arrange a time that works for you.
Do you provide any documentation after the service?
Yes. Movement restoration services include a written condition report covering our findings and the work carried out. Antique pocket watches receive a full set of photographic documentation at each stage — before disassembly, during, and after completion. You receive these alongside your timepiece.
